Horses of Iceland is branching out and the project now has a profile on TikTok to reach younger horse lovers as well as the main target groups of the other social media platforms.
In only one week, HOI has won over almost 200 followers and the four videos that have been posted so far – including of a horse trek in Icelandic nature – have been viewed several hundred times.
On the occasion of the International Day of the Icelandic Horse on 1 May, HOI has launched a video contest on TikTok. Participants are to post a short video of themselves with their horse(s)* by 1 May, using the hashtags #horsesoficeland and #dayoftheicelandichorse.
The video with the most likes will win a fabulous prize: A full bridle set from Hrímnir, a year subscription to the online educational community with Ask Guðmar and a year subscription to Alendis.
